La La Land

Hang on tight honey,
We're off to la-la-land.

Here apples are peaches.
And peaches are atomic bombs.
And broomsticks dance so well.
Under the roof of hypodermics.

We all look the same,
Here in la-la-land.

The pigs are flying,
And the swans wallow in mud.
Another sparrow is trapped,
Inside Venus's bud.

The water sears and fire heals
Here in la-la-land.

All men are free.
We look so lovely in chains.
And general Cactus comes riding.
Clutching his blue horses mane.

The sun is blue and moon so bland
Here in la-la-land.

Life is so good here
And flowers bloom
We dance and make merry
To the drums of doom

Don't die yet honey
We are nearly there.
