My Own Roads

I saw this little boy,
Running down the road
Didn't care where he went
Oh he walked on and on and on...

We been told the roads we follow,
We just read the signs
We just look for herds to join on
Maybe we are blind. Just maybe... we are blind...

Break the chain
Break the circle
Break down the line
I walk my own roads
At my own time.

Won't be pushed around anymore
Or told what to do
It's my life my reasons my way
My point of view

I don't care if they laugh
I know I'm right
I build my own roads
I draw the signs

Free to be my own self
Leaving trails behind
I'll look for my answers
But not in someone elses mind

Push me down I rise again
Won't drown in the crowd
Can't stifle my voice anymore
I scream out loud

Break the chain
Break the circle
Break down the line
I walk my own roads
At my own time.

Won't be pushed around anymore
Or told what to do
It's my lifemy reasons my way
My point of view

I was this little boy
Used to run on by
I wish to follow him
Down the road the; the road I follow.
